Can the app clear system caches?

No. Free Cleaner works with authorized photos, videos and contacts. It cannot clean iOS system caches or data inside other apps.

Why is storage not immediately freed?

Deleted photos can remain in Recently Deleted. System storage accounting, iCloud optimization and resource sharing may affect visible free space. A measured file size is not a promise of instantly freed storage.

Are original videos kept?

Yes. Compression creates a separate copy only when you choose to save. Supported SDR videos can be compressed to 720p or 540p; HDR and some formats are unsupported.

Can I recover a contact merge?

A verified local backup is required before merging. Restore previews add eligible missing contacts and skip conflicts; restoring is not a complete rollback. Notes and account relationships are not backed up. Local backups are lost when you delete the app. Keep an independent backup of important contact information.

What if the app says a write succeeded but refresh failed?

Do not repeat the merge or restore. Scan contacts again and inspect the current system Contacts list.

Why is an ad unavailable?

Availability depends on privacy choices, connectivity, region and inventory. Daily free allowances remain available; optional rewarded ads may add allowances when an ad is available and its reward is granted.
